Parsippany, NJ, January 14, 1999 -- VAMCOM & Partners has been selected by Panasonic’s Battery Sales Group – Consumer Division to develop and implement a new creative strategy for its RapidFlash batteries for cameras. The plan calls for an integrated program to improve brand recognition and increase sales to the camera manufacturers and end users by highlighting the products’ remarkable longevity and rapid recovery time.
Central to the campaign’s message is the fact that 6 out of 10 new cameras are shipped with a Panasonic battery inside. A new tagline was developed to convey the characteristics of the products new capabilities. “Turbo Charge Your Camera!” will be featured in a new advertisement that will begin running in photography industry publications in January 1999. The tagline is also being used as a tradeshow theme for the upcoming Photo Marketing Association show.
Other marketing efforts developed by VAMCOM & Partners in support of Panasonic’s Battery Sales Group include promoting an alliance with the Sante Fe Workshop, the premiere educational facility in the professional photography community.
